British food: Fish and chips

Fish and chips are popular restaurants in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa. 

They offer battered fish, which is deep-fried and it's served with chips to eat in ot take away.

What does it mean "take-away"?

    It means you dont need to eat it
    in the restaurant, you can take it away
